Description

This shaker style sewing desk is the ultimate in luxury for a seamstress. Comprised of four cabinets, each with a bank of drawers and bread trays on each side, there is ample storage and functionality. Three solid wood tops provide an enormous worksurface and connect with knockdown joinery allowing it to be moved into place. Positioning the fours cases in the corners provide workstations for up to four people at once. The cabinets are constructed with traditional mortise & tenon and dovetail joinery for strength and longevity. Modeled after the famous sewing desks found in the shaker village, the design is simple and timeless with an emphasis on functionality.
