Shaker Sewing Desk

The shaker style sewing desk offers luxury and functionality with four cabinets, ample storage, and a large worksurface. It is designed for up to four people, crafted with traditional joinery techniques for strength and longevity. Modeled after famous shaker village desks, it emphasizes timeless design and functionality. The desk is 20″ wide, 20″ deep, and 30″ tall, with a total worksurface of 72″ x 72″. Shown in Red Oak with a dye stain and water base polyurethane finish.

Whitehurst Custom Woodworking worked with Mark and I to design my sewing station. Made for four friends. I opted not to drop my machines into the table. I may want another view if we ever get snow or I had to replace a machine. The height is perfect at 28” from the floor. Pricing was about the same as Horn or comparable sewing furniture…. Difference is that it’s made just for my space, my color, bread trays so everyone has a nest and it’s solid red oak with walnut crafted pulls.
