I engaged with Whitehurst Custom Woodworking on a wall shelving project for my home office. I discussed my requirements with the owner Jeremy, and during our conversations, he made some valuable suggestions that ended up improving the overall result. The wall shelves are even better than what I originally thought they would be before I embarked on the project. At the end, I was happy to tell him, and I’ll say it again for anyone reading this review, that Jeremy absolutely nailed it! The table that Jeremy made is absolutely beautiful and is a piece that will stay in my family for generations.

My wife had just completed her PhD at NCSU and I wanted to commemorate her achievement with the doctoral sword that PhD candidates are presented with in Finland. I wanted a special way to display the sword in our house, so I came to Whitehurst Woodworking with that request. I was worried it was too oddball, but Jeremy was very responsive and excited to work with me on such a special piece! I provided a few rough sketches of the idea I had in mind, and Jeremy took that and made something truly wonderful!
