This hope chest features traditional joinery throughout. Frames and panels are joined into the leg for a classic look. Small details such as the cove profile in the panels and the slight curvature on the ends of the top soften the traditional, square aesthetics of the piece. The bottom is lined with aromatic cedar to provide a traditional look and smell. A genuine leather strap acts as a lid stay.
