This round pedestal table made of Sapele and Curly Maple really makes a statement. The circular form, elegant curves and interesting grain patterns create an inviting table with tons of character. The table rests upon two large rounds made of extra thick stock for plenty of stability. The bandsawn column is shaped with gentle curves for a classic aesthetic to support the star of the show: the table top. Resawn from a single board, the Curly Maple veneers create symmetrical patterns showcasing the tiger striping figure in the wood. The veneers are arranged in quadrants pointing to the center which accents the circular form of the table. A solid hardwood border encompasses the veneered field of the top creating the perfect frame for the figured wood. Joined as segments with tongue and groove joinery, the border provides a contrast in color to the Curly Maple, and a durable edge to hold up to a lifetime of use.
