Design Options

If you are interested in this piece and wish to customize the design, consider these options:

Tables may be made from any species, although hardwoods will be more durable. It is common to see pine farmhouse table constructed with breadboard ends. Consider making this a more rustic design with reclaimed lumber or weathered wood.

The breadboard end on this is cut flush to field of the table. Since wood will expand in its width with each season, you may consider leaving the breadboard end longer than the width of the table to accommodate this movement. Therefore, the end will always be slightly longer than the field which adds to a more rustic look.

As with most pieces, the dimensions may be changed to match your specifications.

I asked Jeremy to make us a new kitchen table using two colors that would match the cabinets in our home. What he came up with was far beyond what I hoped for!

The grain in the wood he chose is incredible. The quality and detail of his finished product are amazing.

When we were designing our new home the kitchen was literally designed around the table he built.

You won’t find a craftsman with an eye for design, an attention to detail, and a commitment to quality more than Jeremy Whitehurst!
